Prices: All prices on this site are clearly stated. There is no charge for UK mainland delivery but occasionally some courier services to deliver to the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man or Scottish Islands. If a delivery surcharge is to be made we will notify you of this and offer you the opportunity to proceed or cancel your order. Overseas orders will incur a delivery charge which will be invoiced separately.
Payment Methods: All online payments are processed by PayPal via a secure server. Cheques may be sent via postal mail within the UK or online bank transfers may be made. Please email to request details for either method.
Order Acknowledgements: Once we receive your order we will aim to contact you via email to confirm your order and arrange delivery. Local orders might be delivered personally but most will be sent via courier or carrier, as appropriate.
Delivery Charges: The woodwork is my father's hobby and interest and is not a commercial activity. Local orders might be delivered personally while orders beyond 100 miles will probably be sent, fully-insured, via courier or other carrier. Whichever method of delivery is used, there will be no delivery charge made for UK mainland orders.
Overseas orders: Overseas orders will incur a delivery charge which will be advised upon confirmation of order. This will be charged at cost using an appropriate overseas courier or shipping service and the delivery charge will be invoiced separately. Foreign currency transactions will be converted into UK sterling at the PayPal checkout.
Security: All transactions are processed through PayPal's Secure Server. You will be emailed a notification of your transaction as soon as it is completed.
Advertising: All our advertising meets the conditions of the Advertising Standards Authority code. Our website will contain no advertising material from other people or organisations.
Consumer law: We guarantee to meet our obligations under the consumer protection laws currently in force including:

Refunds: We offer an immediate refund or exchange if the goods turn out to be faulty or different from those ordered, taking into account the original method of payment. If any item is damaged in transit then please advise us of this immediately. All orders will be insured to cover their full value.
Returned items: Unless exempted from the Distance Selling Regulations, there is a 7 day cooling off period for all goods ordered. Any goods to be returned must be returned sealed, unused and in their original merchantable condition and at your own expense. We advise insuring packages against loss or damage whilst in transit. Refunds, less our postage, packing and credit card processing costs, will be made promptly once the returned items have been examined.
Solving disputes: For any disputes whatsoever we are governed by UK law.
Data protection and privacy: We promise to meet the conditions of the Data Protection Act 1984. We will never send you any third-party marketing material or pass your details to others.
