'Proper' high quality hay and straw for your bunny....
Long, fresh meadow hay is the most important part of your bunny's diet and is essential to keep the digestive tract in good working order whilst the grinding action required to chew helps keep molar teeth in trim and helps prevent painful spurs, requiring surgery, from developing.
All of the products shown below are used by our bunnies and we/they can highly recommend them.
It can be very difficult to source good quality, long, fresh meadow hay but we can mail it direct to you although, unfortunately, the postal charges are not cheap.
Because hay and straw are natural products and subject to natural variations, all pack sizes and weights given are approximate and for guidance only.

A natural product of fine quality grasses and clovers produced by a traditional method from meadows grown locally within the Cotswold Vale.

Although it is never economical to send hay by post, we are very aware that some bunny owners have great difficulty sourcing good quality hay and straw. This locally grown First Class Cotswold Meadow Hay is fresh, green, delightfully fragrant, sweet-smelling, dust-free and packaged in paper sacks to prevent sweating. It's Yummy Stuff, says Jacinda! A high quality, soft barley straw perfect for bedding and munching - the perfect complement to the above Cotswold Meadow Hay. Like the Meadow Hay above, this is packed into paper sacks to prevent sweating. This is a very high fibre product enjoyed by all of our bunnies. Dietary fibre is the most important part of a bunny's diet and bunnies who tuck into this straw produce most impressive large, 'golden' poops! Hay Feast Barn Dried Hay A highly palatable source of essential dietary fibre for your bunny or other small animal. Hay Feast is a premium quality hay which has been barn dried to preserve the natural goodness and nutrients. This results in a hay which is highly digestible and more consistent than field-dried hay. Barn drying helps remove mould and fungus spores . Hay Feast is also medicated to reduce disease risks including micromite. Highly compressed pack for very easy storage. Approximate pack weight: 1.5 - 2kg. Because this is a natural product the pack weight will vary depending on many factors including season and moisture levels in the hay.
