Pet Virkon Disinfectant
A proven disinfectant effective against viral, bacterial and fungal disease-causing organisms including calcivirus (which causes VHD). Virkon is probably the most versatile disinfectant in the world, it can be
applied onto the animal, its cage or surroundings and will kill viruses, fungi
and bacteria quicker and at lower dilutions than most other products. Dilute 10ml in 1 litre of water to create a 1:100 solution and wipe or spray hutch, cage, litter trays, bowls, bottles, toys and other surfaces. Leave hutches/cages to dry for at least 10 minutes then replace bedding/litter. For food bowls, leave for 10 minutes then rinse and dry. Can also be used as a skin disinfectant. Store solution out of direct sunlight in a cool dry place. Remains potent until pink colour fades. Economical to use - economy 500g tub makes 50 litres. |
