Our Area Guides go further to explore far beyond the much-beaten path trodden by
visitors armed with basic brochures or other 'paper' guides.
Instead, our guides and cameras go further - to (virtually) bring you into an area
so you can actually gain a 'feel' for the area - follow a scenic drive in spectacular
border mountain scenery, beside huge reservoirs or alongside the beautiful River
Wye; explore underground caves, ramble through forestry, marvel at a Norman church,
walk through the ruins of a Cistercian abbey , feel the energy of a tumbling waterfall
or take a stroll around a heritage site - all from your home, office or laptop computer.
Informative descriptions of each site of interest, town, village or hamlet in-between
are supplemented by photographs and video so you can experience the real sights
of an area complete with the sounds of local birdsong, a rushing waterfall, trickling
stream, wind rustling through trees, local accents and pans of an especially stunning
landscape.
All of our Guides are currently being rewritten and filmed again ready to be relaunched
with High Definition video.
This will take some time, so please bear with us and we apologise for any inconvenience
in the meantime.
