We currently publish three types of guides:

Comprehensive Area Guides - detailed area guides to view on your computer.  Each is supplemented by photographs and gives and insight into the history and heritage of each area through to the present day

Photographic Journeys - photographic souvenirs packed with large colour photographs and an overview of the area

Slideshows - images of the main features and sites within an area.  These are available on DVD (high resolution) and CD (lower resolution) to view on your television (or computer subject to having suitable video-playing software installed).

Our comprehensive Area Guides are a unique range of local area guides available on DVD to view on your computer.  They show far more of an area than any conventional guidebook can - and are the next best thing to being there!

Easy navigation and scrolling facilities make them extremely easy to use.  There are bookmarks for each area and the facility to zoom in/out of each page and photograph.  You can even opt to have the pages read out to you.

Informative descriptions of each site of interest, town, village or hamlet in-between are supplemented by photographs and video so you can experience the real sights of an area.

Sense the history surrounding the mighty stronghold castles built by the Norman Marcher warlords to keep the Welsh at bay or feel the peace and tranquillity of a remote Norman stone church.

Follow a scenic drive in spectacular border countryside, often watched by wild Welsh Mountain Ponies grazing at the roadside or absorb breath-taking views of panoramic landscapes from the top of a mountain - without the strenuous climb!

Venture into a pre-historic cave or stroll in awe through a ruined Abbey, imagining the 12th century monks at prayer or working the land.

Experience the energy of a tumbling waterfall crashing over limestone boulders or sense the silence surrounding a Neolithic burial chamber high on a remote hilltop.

Or just simply relax enjoy the open space of some of Britain's best landscapes and countryside.

Our Area Guides are perfect for holiday planning, choosing where to visit, learning more about an area or reminiscing back to an earlier visit.

Our Photographic Journeys  include larger high resolution photographs making them a perfect souvenir of your visit.
